This article is intended for both new and existing Qualee clients.

By default, all administrators in Qualee adhere to centralized settings configured under Advanced > User Access > Admins.

However, you can also customize each administrator's access based on their role, position level, or tailored preferences to meet your specific needs.

First, let's understand the types of Administrators:

There are 2 types of administrator access:

  1. Lead Admin

    1. NO restrictions can be applied

    2. Can modify Standard Admin permissions

    3. Can access all content & employee data

  2. Standard Admin - Restrictions can be applied

    1. Restrictions are configurable by the Lead Admin

    2. Cannot modify a another Standard Admin's restriction settings

    3. Can only access content & employee data as configured by the Lead Admin

How to assign/create a Lead / Standard admin

  • Log In to the Qualee console as a Lead Admin (created by the Qualee team during the Client Onboarding)

  • Navigate to Advanced > User Access > Custom configuration

  • In the Admins tab > Add admin field, look up for the name of the employee platform user you'd like to provide administrator access to

  • Click add to save

Note:

By default all new administrators are created as a "Standard admin"

Next to the standard administrator's name is an ellipsis button that allows you to perform certain actions such as upgrading to a "Lead admin", removing administrator access or modifying their permissions.

As a Lead Administrator, you can manage your Standard Administrator efficiently through various actions available on their ellipsis menu.

Ellipsis action/s guideline:

  1. Edit permissions: Modify georestriction, employee, and content access for an administrator.

  2. Assign custom segment: Assign a unique grouping to expand the administrator's employee access roster.

  3. Make lead admin: Upgrade the standard administrator's access to supersede all limits.

  4. Make standard admin: Default administrator access with controllable limits and permissions.

  5. Copy permissions: Copy the existing permission settings from any selected administrator.

  6. Paste permissions: Paste the existing permission settings from any selected administrator to another.

  7. Remove overrides: Restore the default settings for a selected administrator.

  8. Remove admin access: Remove an administrator's ability to access the Qualee Console.
