Clients can request their company account and associated data to be deleted from the Qualee system at any time. As data deletion is irreversible, Qualee will be required to validate the requesting client administrator before initiating the procedure.

Following successful verification, Qualee will delete client data within one month from the core database via a process that includes both deletion and anonymisation. Qualee maintains automated backups of client data for 3 months. Therefore, client data will thus be fully deleted and/ anonymised from all Qualee systems within a maximum duration of four months.

Deletion and anonymization process

The Qualee client data deletion procedure identifies and anonymises any record of personally identifiable information (PII) stored in the Qualee production databases that could be used to identify any individual or entity. Qualee deletes the information in full or by using a cryptographic process known as 'salting' that generates unique hash sequences. This process is OWASP recognised as a measure of ensuring that the resulting data is rendered ineffective for the purpose of identifying the entity that created it.

Client data outside Qualee's core systems

Qualee uses several third party systems for customer support, security and data protection. Our client data deletion procedure will also remove any client data stored in such other systems.
