Before you proceed, we highly recommend that you read an article titled Introduction to Journeys to make the most out of this article.
This article review the different methods of attaching images in your Journeys. Be it for visual reference purposes, a photo of your office or an infographic to communicate information clearly. images in your Journeys are a great way of maximising employee engagement.
There are three places where an image can be used in a Journey step.
File Step
Introduction text box
Header Image
How to attach an image via a File Step
(Best for high resolution images)
Login to the Qualee Console
Navigate to Library
Click Add > File
Upload your image (.jpeg, .PNG, .gif file formats supported)
Input your desired file title and content profile
Next, create a journey and choose File Step
In the Journey editor page, underneath the Header Image (optional) is a File section field.
Input the first 3 letters of your file title in the field and select your file.
Complete the rest of the step details and click on Save.
How to attach an image via Introduction Text box
(Best for optimisation)
Unlike a File step, attaching an image via the introduction text box is much faster but with a maximum image limit size of 2MB per image. You can attach as many images as you want in a single step.
Login to the Qualee console
Create a Journey and choose any step types
Hint: A headshot photo and i.d verification steps do not have an introduction text boxIn the introduction text box of a chosen step, click on the Image icon
Choose an upload method (i.e. General via URL / Upload via Local device storage)
Click on the Paragraph drop-down and click on Fit image to device screen or adjust your image dimensions manually.
Hint: Images are automatically fitted for Android devicesComplete the rest of the step details and click on Save.
How to attach an image via Introduction a header image
A header image as described by its name is commonly use to provide a visual header on a journey step. For example, this could be a logo of your company, an image of what you are describing in a journey or simply a banner graphics for design purposes.
Login to the Qualee console
Create a Journey and choose any step types
Hint: A headshot photo and i.d verification steps do not have a header image option
In the Journey editor page, click on the Header Image (optional) and click on the + button to add your image (.jpeg, .PNG, .gif file formats supported)
Once the upload is done, click on the Header Image field and click Choose image.
Complete the rest of the step details and click on Save.
