What is the Dashboard Participation rate?

This shows the overall participation score based on the volume of surveyed employees vs. those who have participated in one or more engagement surveys.

Glossary of terms:

  • Participation rate:
    The measured score of participation from distributed engagement surveys

  • Surveyed employees:
    The volume of people who have completed their scheduled survey/s

  • Total Employees:
    The volume of people invited to participate in a scheduled survey/s.

  • Survey Cycle:
    The entire period of a scheduled survey

How is the Dashboard's Participation rate computed?

Sample 1: Single Scheduled Survey

Survey Cycle 1: Invite = 47 | Completed = 33

Formula:

  • Participation Rate = (Surveyed Employees / Total employees ) x100

SUM = (33 / 47) x100

All time Participation Rate = 70%

Sample 2: Two or more Scheduled Survey

Survey Cycle 1: Invite = 47 | Completed = 33

Survey Cycle 2: Invite = 47 | Completed = 10

Formula:

  • Survey Cycle 1: Participation Rate = Surveyed Employees / Total employees ) x100

  • Survey Cycle 2: Participation Rate = Surveyed Employees / Total employees ) x100

  • Aggregated Participation Rate = SC1 Participation rate + SC2 Participation Rate / Volume of Scheduled Surveys

SUM = ( (33 / 47) x 100 ) + ((10 / 47) x 100) / 2

All time Aggregated Participation Rate = 46%
