How to create and deploy custom surveys in Qualee

We made it simple for companies to create and deploy Custom Surveys to collect regular feedback and engage with their employees. Custom Surveys also allow employers to make data-driven decisions and identify areas of improvement.

There are 3 different formats of responses to choose from when creating a Custom Survey.

  1. Multiple choice

  2. Star rating

  3. Free text

Below is a step-by-step guideline on how to create and deploy custom surveys, viewing or downloading responses and generating reports. Here's how it works:

Creating a Custom Survey

  • Login to the Qualee console

  • Select Tools

  • Select Surveys and click Create Survey

  • Select Add first question

  • Choose the desired response format and input your question.

  • Save question and add new questions as necessary.

Depending on your selected Qualee Plan, you may create several Custom Survey Templates and use them anytime or any way you want. Custom Surveys can be added as a step in a Journey or be released independently.

Deploy Independent Surveys

  • From the Console, select Actions

  • Select Create Action

  • Select Single Action

  • In the first line "Type", select Survey

  • Choose your required survey from the drop-down menu

  • Select employees or segments

  • Attach header as needed

  • Specify send and due dates

  • Add a description

  • Click Create action

Deploy Custom Survey via Journey Steps

  • Select the Journey Profile you wish to add a survey to

  • Select Add new step, and choose Survey

  • Name the step

  • Select/upload a header image you'd to appear as your survey banner

  • Select the Custom Survey from the drop-down menu

  • Add introduction text and save the step.

Below are example screenshots of how the survey will appear on your employees' app.

Once a survey has been completed, there are two different ways to view or download employee responses:

View/Download Survey Response via Action

  • From the Console select Actions

  • Select the name of the employee you wish to view

  • On the ellipsis, select View answers or simply click the name of the employee

View/Download Survey Response via Journey Dashboard

  • From the console select Dashboard then Journeys

  • Select from the drop-down menu which Journey you wish to view

  • Select See journey on the left side and you will see a list of employees enrolled in the journey

  • Select the name of the employee you wish to view

  • Select the Survey step to view the answers
